Duties and Responsibilities:- Installing or repairing any of a variety of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment; working from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications.
- Locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment,
- Working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment and using a variety of electrician's hand tools and measuring and testing instruments.
- In general, the work of the maintenance electrician requires rounded training and experience usually acquired through a BICSI Certification (INSTC & INSTF).
- Implement Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) maintenance, inspection, and utilization program that includes repair, distribution, and replacement.

Fire Alarm Technician Ascension Island | Job Description: The Fire Alarm System Mechanic maintains and repairs fire alarm wiring and equipment, ensuring work is in accordance with relevant codes.
Education: High school diploma or equivalency.
Qualifications: - Five (5) years of relevant work experience.
- Maintain current NICET licensure and shall have not less than the fire alarm system manufacturer’s minimum recommended training, qualifications, and certifications for each type of system.
- Secret Security clearance.
- Ability to acquire and maintain government identification/common access card.
- Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations.
- Valid state Driver’s License with acceptable driving record pertinent to the position.

Duties and Responsibilities:- Inspects, maintains, repairs, replaces, and modifies Real Property Installed Equipment (RPIE) fire alarm control panels, annunciator equipment, initiating devices, notification appliances, and digital alarm transmitters/ receivers.
- Install and repair Fire Alarm/Detection Systems.
- Inspects maintains, repairs, replaces, and modifies RPIE environmental, warning, mass notification, intrusion, and klaxon alarm systems.
- Provides notification of the inspection/test schedule to the government representative.
- Inspects, tests, operates, and maintains carbon monoxide detection systems, environmental detection alarms, frequency modulated (FM) antennas and base station and transceivers connected to these alarms in accordance with manufacture’s recommendations and/or PMTLs (whichever is more stringent) and local procedures.

Firefighter Ascension Island | Job Description: This position will be responsible for providing Fire and Emergency Services, utilizing resources to accomplish operational requirements, and will report to the assigned Crew Chief or Station Captain. The additional duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive. Place of performance is on the USSF base on Ascension Island.
Education: High School Diploma or GED, Firefighting School Graduate Desired
Qualifications: - A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Fire service certifications must be either DoD, IFSAC, or ProBoard.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Firefighter is required.
- A minimum of Firefighter I & II,
- Airport Firefighter (ARFF),
- Driver Operator Pumper,
- Hazmat Operations, and Awareness certification.
- A Valid CPR and EMR certification is required.
- Valid Driver License from country of origin.
- English proficiency rating by TOEFL or IELTS for Writing, Conversation, and Comprehension.

Paramedic/Firefighter Ascension Island | Job Description: Perform under stressful situations fire prevention, fire suppression, hazardous material incident response and emergency medical rescue. Provide Advanced Life Support medical assistance duties to protect life and property. Place of performance is on the USSF base on Ascension Island.
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent, desired Associates or Bachelors in related field.
Qualifications: - Required Certifications: Firefighter/HazMat Operations, BLS, NREMT Paramedic or State Paramedic. NREMR Certification, with Personnel Protective Equipment, and Production Control First Aid Provider, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. Minimum 3 years of experience. Possess Interpersonal skills to work in teams and coordinate with others to handle emergency situations.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Respond to medical emergencies for all AAAF controlled areas/facilities is support of U.S. Military, Civilians, and support Contractors.
- Assess emergency and resources available immediately determine triage plan to treat most serious injuries first.
- Evaluate the patient’s condition on the scene and perform preliminary diagnosis and treatment.
- Coordinate with medical director, NP or PAs for additional medical advice.
- Provide advanced notification for preparing medical facilities to service incoming patients.

Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor Ascension Island | Job Description: The incumbent is responsible for the overall management of vehicle maintenance and fleet operations, in accordance with government and/or state and local regulations. The incumbent supervises all daily work operations for the transportation department. The incumbent is responsible for the contractual obligations in support the Performance Work Statement provided by the Federal Government.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Subject Matter Expert (SME) in all phases of vehicle maintenance and repair.
Qualifications: - Ten (10) years’ experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Three (3) years supervisory experience.
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) in all phases of vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Current valid state issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance as applicable to the position.
