Assistant Facility Security Officer
Patrick Spaceforce Base, FL
Job Description: The incumbent works as a liaison with YEI Industrial Security Department in all matters related to the Industrial Security Program and employees requiring Personnel Security Clearances (PCLs). The incumbent is responsible for adhering to the functions and activities of the Industrial Security Program as outlined in the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications:
    Mandatory:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Industrial Security matters, processing employees for personnel security clearances (PCL), and using the U.S. Government program DISS.
  • Minimum of 3 years general office experience.
  • Must possess a FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities Curriculum Certificate or be able to complete the mandated courses required to obtain the certificate within one year of hire.
  • Ability to successfully complete DSS security training (independent study correspondence courses and in-person training), as required.
  • Skill in the use of Microsoft Office and Work at an intermediate level or higher.
  • Valid state Driver's License with acceptable driving record pertinent to the position.
  • Ability to successfully pass any background checks and/or drug testing required on the contract.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance. US Citizenship required.
  • Must be able to travel out of the country for a period of two weeks at a time, up to two times per year.
    Preferred:
  • Experience with Industrial Security contractor operations with 45th SFB location.
  • Familiarity with Government regulations such as Federal Acquisition Regulations, DFARs, etc.
  • Certificate for completed training required in access JPAS or designated replacement program.
  • 4 years' experience with JPAS.
  • Experience with processing Foreign Nationals for work on Government installations.
  • At time of hire, a current SECRET security clearance issued by the Department of Defense {DoD) or a previous PCL at the same level that can be reinstated is required.
  • Experience in writing correspondence, technical text, procedures and processes, and editing text prepared by others. Must possess excellent grammar and writing skills.
  • Knowledge of government contracting terminology and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
    Performs Industrial Security responsibilities in coordination with the Corporate Industrial Security Department. These duties included, but are not limited to:
    • Serves as a first point of contact for Industrial Security related issues at the project site.
    • Reports security violations and adverse information to the Corporate Industrial Security Department.
    • Performs inspections on areas where classified documents are kept and reports on the findings, posting notices, and security violations.
    • Conducts periodic self-inspections and reviews of all security processes to ensure compliance, to include Corporate Self-Inspection, OPSEC Inspections, and Industrial Security Reviews for the 45th Space Wing
    • Uses DISS as required.
    • Facilitates Industrial Security, OPSEC, and other awareness training for all project site personnel, including but not limited to: in- and out-briefs, annual refresher briefings, foreign travel briefings, and debriefings; to include any mandated contract or Air Force training.
    • Prepares and coordinates processing of paperwork for all employees requiring Common Access Cards (CACs) and Cape Canaveral badges, to include Foreign Nationals on Ascension Island.
    • Prepares, coordinates, and provides instructions and guidance to employees for NBIS entry of SF86 and Periodic Reinvestigation (PR) process.
    • Coordinates with the 45th Space Wing for employees requiring NACI investigations and the necessary forms, to include the processing of Foreign Nationals.
    • Maintains all security clearance records and documents for YEI cleared employees and provides copies to the Corporate Industrial Security Office.
    • Interfaces and provides support with project site subcontractors, as required.
    • Ensures implementation and adherence to all policies, procedures, and practices outlined by the customer, Department of Defense (DoD), and NISPOM.
    • Performs ISOPREP functions for the 45th Space Wing personnel, and other contractors as identified by the Air Force, and all YEI contract employees and subcontractors.
    • Coordinates and submits the appropriate travel paperwork for all YEI employees traveling to and from Ascension Island in the performance of the contract.
    • Assists employees and visitors with access questions or issues, to include submitting DBIDS and base access requests to the 45th Space Wing.
    • Support the IT/ Communications Manager with NISPOM Chapter 8 and DoD 8570 Baseline Certification requirements.
    • Prepares and maintains records of all DD Form 2875 and AF 4394 forms.
    • Maintain records of all DoD 8570 Baseline Certification requirements.

Enironmental, Quality, & Safety Specialist
Patrick Spaceforce Base, FL
Job Description: Provide subject matter authority and expertise that complies with environmental, quality and safety (EQS) services to support and comply with all applicable environmental Air Force directives. Develop project management plans, environmental impact analysis and update resource requirements and allocations to provide data for status reports.

Education: BS Environmental Science or related field

Qualifications:
  • Environmental Science degree with minimum of 4 years’ experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Implement and update health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Leads the implementation, execution and maintenance of the environmental, health and safety and process safety management systems.
  • Responsible for in-depth understanding and application of safe, compliant operational practices, policies, work processes, programs and standards.
  • Monitors safety and environmental performance and report status.
  • Support environmental impact analysis.
  • Coordinate and report environmental sampling and analysis monitoring.
  • Maintain Environmental Plans and Programs.
  • Prepare environmental and safety reports as required.
  • Provide oversight potable water and wastewater program.
  • Implement reporting of environmental spills to the SLD 45 Environmental Program Management Representative and Base Commander and Station Manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Executive Administrative Assistant

Job Description: Responsible for accomplishing a wide variety of administrative tasks in support of Program Director and Deputy Program Director.

Qualifications: 5+ years experience accomplishing a wide variety of administrative tasks. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills, scheduling, time-management, meeting deadlines. Possess solid computer skills w/proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & adept in learning new software and processes. Prefer person with experience working with Federal contracts & regulations, Department of Defense officials, their organizations andtheir operating practices.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to Program Director and Deputy Program Director
  • Have significant contact with senior company management and various external contacts
  • Provide administrative support to managers and other assigned staff to include preparation of correspondence, maintenance of files and records, and calendars
  • Respond to routine telephone requests which have standard answers; refer calls and visitors to appropriate staff
  • As instructed, maintain supervisor's calendar, make appointments, and arrange for meeting rooms
  • Review materials for typographical accuracy and proper format prepared for supervisor's approval
  • Maintain recurring internal reports, such as time and leave records, office equipment listings, and training plans

Education: Bachelors degree in English, communication, business administration.

Job Description: Provide technical support, perform research, and create written summaries of technical data. Must be a self-starter, able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Review, write, and edit material for government proposals, company procedures, and administrative documents.

Qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience providing technical support in a corporate setting and/or for a government entity
  • Strong writing skills
  • Proficient in document analysis and correspondence writing
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent oral communication skills
