Operations & Maintenance - Kennedy Space Center
Kennedy Space Center, FL
: High school diploma or equivalent
:A minimum of four (4) years recent diversified experience in the operation of multiple types of mobile cranes to include both friction and hydraulic cranes. Must possess a valid Class A CDL with hazardous material endorsement, pass the OSHA physical requirements, and pass a performance skills test. Must have CCO license or equivalent. Must be capable of operating various types of cranes with capacities from 5 ton to 300 tons; operate wreckers, aerial lifts as well as aircraft ground moving equipment. Must be able to make pre-operational checks, operational checks and post operational checks of the above equipment. Must be capable of rigging various loads ranging from general cargo to multi-million dollar one-of kind flight hardware. Must be capable of handling emergency situations and take corrective actions as required. Must be able to communicate with other individuals and be able to coordinate the equipment necessary to perform hazardous operations as well as provide direction to other crew members. Must be familiar with proof load testing of various equipment rigging and hardware adapters. Ability to gain and maintain security clearance.
Duties & Responsibilities
Operate various types of cranes with capacities from 5 to 300 tons and have the ability to rig loads
Support operations as a ground man, understand hand signals, and support with the proper placement of cribbing
Operate various type trucks: wrecker, bucket trucks with a reach of up to 180 feet
Operate semi-tractors with all types of trailers, box trucks, bread vans, and large dually pick-ups with transport trailers
Operate aerial man lifts, Extend-a-Boom forklift w/attachments
Perform forklift operations with capacities from 2-50K
Utilize forklift attachments
Ability to load and secure equipment and cargo for transport, operate aircraft ground moving vehicles
Perform pre-operation checks, operational checks, and post-operational checks on equipment being used and handle various types of loads
Routinely check fluid levels and monitor operating temperatures and pressure, fuel level, cables, tires, and tracks, and general operating condition of equipment
Provide field maintenance and take corrective and emergency actions if required
Provide guidance and direction to employees in lower classifications
Perform other related duties as required
Legally eligible to work in the United States
Ability to obtain and maintain a KSC security clearance
Successful completion of a drug screening test
Ability to meet physical requirements to perform the job
Valid Florida Driver's License/Class A CDL
Possess a CCO License or equivalent and able to perform trades/skill tests
High School Diploma or equivalent

College degree or 2-3 years experience in a field requiring work with computer databases and with customers on a daily basis.
Training Coordinator develops training requirements for various craft and professional employees. Requires interfacing with various internal and external levels of the organization in determining training requirements to meet certification and safety requirements of the Contract.
Individual must possess strong oral and written communication skills as well as experience with computer and Microsoft software packages. Excellent organizational skills, including scheduling, time management (ability to multitask), and meeting deadlines, are vital.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Schedule and Coordinate Training:
Export and review training reports to determine completion and/or expiration dates for training, physicals, licenses, and certifications
Schedule classroom training through TCRS
Schedule physicals through OHF
Document and input OJT’s into TCRS to renew training certifications
Ensure employees possess current training and medical certification documentation
Prepare authorization paperwork for vendor provided training and make travel arrangements if necessary
Maintain necessary Company records of all employee training
Maintain training, certifications, licenses, permits, etc. required for performance of assigned tasks.
Secondary duties include badging and security, time keeping, records retention, and other Operations Support Office duties as assigned.
