Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Qualifications:A minimum of four (4) years recent diversified experience in the operation of multiple types of mobile cranes to include both friction and hydraulic cranes. Must possess a valid Class A CDL with hazardous material endorsement, pass the OSHA physical requirements, and pass a performance skills test. Must have CCO license or equivalent. Must be capable of operating various types of cranes with capacities from 7.5 ton to 300 tons; operate wreckers, aerial lifts as well as aircraft ground moving equipment. Must be able to make pre-operational checks, operational checks and post operational checks of the above equipment. Must be capable of rigging various loads ranging from general cargo to multi-million dollar one-of kind flight hardware. Must be capable of handling emergency situations and take corrective actions as required. Must be able to communicate with other individuals and be able to coordinate the equipment necessary to perform hazardous operations as well as provide direction to other crew members. Must be familiar with proof load testing of various equipment rigging and hardware adapters.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Maintain training, certifications, licenses, permits, etc. required for performance of assigned tasks.
  • Operate various types of cranes with capacities from 5 to 300 Tons.
  • Load test various rigging cables and equipment.
  • Operate various wrecker type trucks, mobile towers, and aircraft ground moving vehicles.
  • Perform pre-operation checks, operational checks, and post-operational checks on equipment being used.
  • Rig heavy loads and handle various types of winch equipment.
  • Take corrective and emergency action as required and perform in-field maintenance.
  • Routinely check water level and temperature, oil level and pressure, fuel level, cables, tires, and tracks, and general operating condition of equipment.
  • Provide field maintenance and take corrective and emergency actions if required.
  • Participate in on-the-job training and attend formal instruction classes as directed and pass any tests associated with those classes.
  • May provide guidance and direction to employees in lower classifications.

    Job Summary:Perform a variety of engineering assignments in planning and overseeing research, development, design, manufacture, test, installation, operation, and maintenance of diverse electronic/ mechanical equipment and systems and generally as a lead of a design, analysis or review team on the most complex engineering assignments.
    Essential Responsibilities:
  • Performs a range of design development, analysis, or review tasks independently.
  • Responsible for complete designs, analyses, or design reviews.
  • Generate complete design specifications for the most complex projects.
  • May train other engineers on technical issues related to the research, design, development, testing and analysis of engineering assignments.
  • Coordinate and work closely with other engineering, logistics, financial, and program management disciplines to define system specifications and requirements.
  • Establish and maintain a filing system or databases as needed for tracking project status.
  • Develop, maintain and produce technical documentation and system/subsystem specifications.
  • Direct interface and liaison with internal and external customers at all levels from quotation to final design and test activities, design reviews and technical working group meetings to comply with requirements and specifications.
  • Conduct site visits and experimental investigations and analyze engineering problems, propose solutions and alternatives, and provide recommendations.
  • Verify and comply with engineering documentation standards and test procedures.
  • Prepare, deliver and submit technical papers and perform engineering studies.
  • Support development of technical proposal and provide comments on the technical content and level of effort of the proposed scope of work.
  • May organize and supervise a group of employees for a given project, contract or job with overall responsibility for cost, schedule, technical and employee performance.
  • Minimum Requirements:
    Bachelors degree in Engineering or related scientific field and at least 10 years of job-related experience. Excellent communications and analytical skills; working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs. Position may require travel. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    Satisfactory completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam.
    Professional Engineer Registration.

    Manager, Business Development
    Oviedo, Fl
    YEI has immediate opening for a Manager of Business Development to provide acquisition support for NASA, Federal/State and DOD new business opportunities.

    Required knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies include:
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
  • Successful completion of a drug screening test
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License
  • 10+ years of NASA, Federal/State and DOD business development experience
  • Experience with cradle to grave federal contract bid and proposal processes
  • Experience in developing capture plans, schedules, and related business functions
  • Ability to travel
  • Minimum computer skills include Microsoft Office Suites ( Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

    Duties and responsibilities
  • Provide support in acquisition, contracting and program/proposal management. Utilize experience, abilities and knowledge in planning and executing Business Development projects to support client or agency mission needs.
  • Provide advice, recommendations, and documentation support for all areas of the acquisition requirements phase. Requirements support includes Statement of Work/Specifications/Requirements Documents; Acquisition Strategy Support; and Market Research and Market Surveys
  • Develop and capture new business with Federal/State Government and DOD agencies, manage proposal teams, and coordinate activities with corporate management
  • Manage/Prepare responses to Request for Quotes (RFQ’s), Requests for Information (FRI), Request for Proposals (RPF), and combined Synopsis/Solicitations. Assure responses comply with all appropriate solicitation terms and conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and corporate contracting policies, procedures, regulations and laws.
  • Prepare contractual documents such as non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, subcontracts and consulting agreements.
  • Analyze solicitation terms and conditions to assess business risks, develop pricing strategy, and proposal costs and staffing requirements.
  • Advise senior management and project managers of contractual obligations and make recommendations on all matters including terms and conditions, scope of work, liabilities, intellectual property rights, insurance, liquidated damages, service levels, pricing matters, disputes, mediations, etc.
