YEI was founded with an advanced engineering capability and has provided
Architectural and Engineering Services since 1986. We provide multi-discipline
design services to create engineering design standards including architectural,
civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, communications, environmental, safety
and security. We also perform site development planning, and permitting; develop
bid packages; and perform environmental assessments and impact studies employing
state-of the-art technologies. Our A&E services encompass design of modifications for reconfiguration and expansion of government facilities, site assessments,
and user consultations; engineering design calculations, preparation of drawings using current CAD/CAE technology, and
preparation of construction packages with cost estimates and schedules. All services are performed in compliance with local,
national, and international codes and regulations. We provide IT support for design services by developing and hosting a
dedicated secure internet website for storage and access to standard drawings, specifications, manuals, and manufacturers’ data..
We maintain current knowledge of historical and new building codes and government requirements related to safety, security,
quality, documentation, and record keeping. We routinely provide designs in both English and Spanish.
